The story

Introduced in 2020, the Breitling Chronomat B01 42 is a multi-purpose sports chronograph shaped by the brand’s Frecce Tricolori heritage and the commercial Chronomat of 1984. This modern homage brought back the distinctive roller-style Rouleaux bracelet, while four raised bezel rider tabs preserve its recognisable design character. Inside, the Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01 is an automatic, integrated chronograph with column-wheel control and a vertical clutch. COSC chronometer certification and approximately 70 hours of power reserve give that heritage a thoroughly practical foundation. This 2024 example, ref. UB0134101B1U1, pairs a chocolate sunburst dial with a 42 mm stainless-steel and 18k red-gold case. The two-tone Rouleaux bracelet combines stainless steel with 18k red-gold intermediate components and closes with a butterfly deployment clasp.
