Breitling Superocean Chrono M2000
Ref. A73310
Depth with a different pulse
The story
The Breitling Superocean Chrono M2000 brings chronograph functionality to the brand’s established dive-watch line, with quartz power at its heart. The Superocean began in 1957 with both a time-only diver, ref. 1004, and a chronograph, ref. 807, placing the M2000 within a tradition that reaches back to the collection’s inception. Here, Breitling’s calibre 73 SuperQuartz provides a different pulse: a quartz chronograph rather than an automatic movement. This ref. A73310 dates to circa 2012–2017 and pairs that movement with a 46 mm steel case. Presented in very good condition, it offers a substantial interpretation of the Superocean, with dimensions that give it a clear presence on the wrist. Its scale is part of its character, suited to someone who enjoys the tangible presence of a larger watch throughout the day. Accompanied by papers, this example offers collectors a quartz-powered chapter of Breitling’s dive-chronograph story. For the wearer, it is a companion with a history of its own design, ready to become familiar on the wrist and mark new memories through regular wear. Available to view by appointment.
