Breitling Chronomat 39
Ref. B13352
A companion with a distinct profile
The story
The Breitling Chronomat ref. B13352 belongs to the compact, pre-Evolution generation, carrying forward the rider-tab bezel design established by the modern Chronomat in 1984. Its rotating timing bezel has four prominent tabs at the quarter-hour positions, giving the watch a readily recognisable profile. Inside is the Breitling 13 automatic chronograph calibre, based on the established ETA/Valjoux 7750 architecture—a different chapter in Breitling’s history from the later manufacture B01. This example is dated to 2000–2005 and pairs a 39 mm steel/gold case with a black dial and steel “pilot” bracelet. The dial places the 30-minute counter at 12, the 12-hour counter at 6 and running seconds at 9, balanced by the date at 3. Against that black background, the case’s combination of steel and gold brings a warmer contrast: a detail to appreciate as the wrist turns. Condition is described as good; the last service is unknown. Offered as watch only, it suits a collector drawn to this earlier Chronomat design or a wearer looking for a compact automatic chronograph. Imagine it accompanying ordinary days and significant occasions alike, gradually becoming familiar on the wrist and gathering memories of your own. Available to view by appointment.
