Omega De Ville Ladymatic
Ref. 425.30.34.20.55.002
Mother-of-pearl, quietly distinctive
The story
The Omega De Ville Ladymatic pairs a feminine design with mechanical watchmaking. Its lineage begins with the original Ladymatic, introduced in 1955 as a women’s automatic watch; the modern De Ville Ladymatic collection followed in 2010. Part of that modern collection, ref. 425.30.34.20.55.002 is powered by the Omega Calibre 8520 Co-Axial Chronometer movement, bringing a clearly defined mechanical identity to its refined design. This example dates to circa 2020–2025 and features a mother-of-pearl dial within a 34 mm steel case, complemented by an integrated steel bracelet. The dial gives the watch its quietly distinctive character: as the wrist turns, mother-of-pearl responds to the light, offering a gentle contrast to the steel surrounding it. Presented in very good condition, it combines a modest case size with the visual continuity of case and bracelet. The watch comes with its box. For a collector drawn to the Ladymatic’s history, or a wearer seeking a mechanically accomplished everyday companion, it offers interest beyond its appearance. Imagine that changing dial in the light of an ordinary morning, then across the occasions and memories it will accompany. Available to view by appointment.
